Anybody tried using a geforce gt710 2gb ddr3 pcie in a dell t320?

won't work with 450 watt power supply. Going to try a 750 watt and see what happens.

Hello, I wanted to share some generic information. As I know the T320 is compatible with third-party video cards like the Nvidia Q4000 and Q6000, but these are utilized for GPU operations rather than graphical purposes. While it’s possible that other third-party cards could function in the server, we haven’t conducted any tests or validations on them, so we can’t provide any recommendations for ones that might work. If you do manage to find a compatible card, please note that the iDRAC will become inaccessible because it relies on the integrated video.

 

I did some research. And the GeForce GT 710 has a maximum power draw of 19W, and it’s generally recommended to have a PSU of at least 300W. Therefore, a 450W PSU should typically be sufficient. However, the total power requirement depends on the other components in your system as well.

If you’re experiencing issues, it could be due to other factors such as driver compatibility
