Hello,

Firstly you know R450 is primarily a server, not a desktop system. Regarding dual-screen functionality, the R450 itself doesn’t have built-in video outputs like a regular desktop computer. It’s meant to be managed remotely via iDRAC or other management interfaces. Therefore, connecting monitors directly to the server isn’t a common use case. So I can tell the R450 itself doesn’t directly support dual monitors in the way a desktop PC does. If you manage to connect two monitors, the next extend feature depends on the setting of the operating system you use.

Hope that helps!

@DELL-Erman O

you mean the right thing about technical its not true. For sure every PowerEdge Server have build-in video which in the past was based on a Matrox chip and ends up in a VGA port at the back and sometimes also mirrors on the front of the server.

Yes, its not support to add an additional GFX Card into the server (we dont talk about GPUs) to get addtional HDMI, DP Ports.

Joerg
