memory swap question

Ok, forgive me for a simple question, but I'm not up to speed on current hardware.

I have a PE400SC that we ordered with 256MB of RAM and win2k3. (P4, 2.8GHz, HT) It's more than we need for a 3 person file server, so i was thinking of giving them my Dimension 4550 (P4 2.0GHz, 1GB Ram, XP) instead.  The problem is I can't spend any $$ on memory.

Can I swap the memory between the two?

Can I legally swap the operating systems?

Can I actually use my Radeon 9200 in the 400SC's AGP slot?

Thanks!

As long as the memory is of the same type (DDR, etc) then yes, you can swap it.. (I have no knowledge of the Dimension 4550 specs, so cant answer that 100%, sorry - but I suspect they will be the same)
and Yes, you can swap OS's... whether you want XP on the 400SC or the 4550 is your choice. As long as you dont install XP (or 2k3) onto both. You are licensed to use one copy on one machine. you are obligated to remove it from one machine if you wish to install it on another. (I am not a lawyer, but that is my understanding of the Microsoft agreement)
As for the graphics card. No problem... I run a Radeon 9800 pro in my 400SC, and it runs very well.

hope some of this is helpful.
