We can't give you exact answers with regards to the Rittal products as we do not have those racks for testing ( perhaps another customer with similar config could advise ), what I can provide you is the dimensions of the R320 and R5500 and see if the rack would fit the products according to your requirements.

For the R320 :

Height - 42.8 mm (1.68 inch)

Width :

With rack latches 482.4 mm (18.99 inch)

Without rack latches 434.0 mm (17.08 inch)

Depth (includes bezel)

With cabled power supply unit - 660.2 mm (25.99 inch)

With redundant power supply unit - 677.3 mm (26.66 inch)

Weight (maximum) 19.3 kg (42.55 lb)

Weight (empty) 16.33 kg (36 lb)

For the R5500 :

Height 86.30 mm (3.40 inches)

Width 440.60 mm (17.35 inches)

Depth :

with front bezel 792.70 mm (31.21 inches)

without front bezel 753.60 mm (29.67 inches)

Weight (Minimum) :

with front bezel 23.91 kg (52.6 lb)

without front bezel 23.52 kg (51.7 lb)

Ultimately, this would really depend on the 3rd party rack dimensions and mounts available for Dell systems, we would suggest for you to contact the vendors for proper info and if not, consider racks from Dell instead.

Sorry to bring this back up, but I am struggling to find where server depths are.  I am absolutely surprised that this is not a front and center specification on these. Depth completely determines which cabinet is required. Is there somewhere to find the depths in inches of each Dell server model that I am unaware of?  Thanks.

They are usually found in the manuals and/or technical guides.  Which server(s) are you looking for?
