iDRAC 7.00.00.172, cannot revert to 3.30.30.00

With the new firmware update which I mistakenly have applied to my iDRAC I can no longer revert to version 3.30.30.00 (due to a bootloader updated) which would have allowed me to control fan speeds using ipmitool. So now my server is loud and there's nothing I can do about it. Fan speed offsets do nothing and the temperatures are well within reason.

I really need to revert this bootloader somehow.
