The use of Isilon for Oracle Database / RAC storage
Has anyone had any experience using Isilon storage with Oracle? If so, what has your experience been? Any comments would be welcome.

I have been told a ferw times the Isilon file system is not designed to support a random read/write IO profile.
What Isilon was being positioned for at a couple of "large" Oracle DB customer sites was for storing the very large amount of inteface files from source system, before being loaded in to the DW.

should Isilon's large capacity and high bandwidth be a good fit for Oracle OLAP/Reporting application?

I useed Isilon one time as backup space for Oracle.
It was not that fast (5x NL400) but it worked.
