Oracle One Node RAC - Am I getting this right?

Hi Team - I think I know what Oracle One Node RAC means but more from a reading Oracle's document that actually asnwering customer's questions.

Anyways; my understanding of Oracle RAC One Node is that it provides instance redundancy wether being on a single physical node or on a cluster. If that's correct from a Storage perspective; when sizing for it what would be the questions I need to ask? What would be important on this case? If I am making this too complicated or I am confusing things I will be more than glad to be corrected!

For those of you curious about what this new 11g feature is, a really good explanation is at http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_rac_one_node.htm .  I really like these guys!  Their explanations are clear and the examples are great.

My understanding is that from the perspective of storage, Oracle RAC One Node isn't going to be much different from a capacity/performance point of view than a similar Oracle instance without RAC.  Why?  'cause One Node simply relocates or redirects the database from one server to another.  The underlying performance characteristics aren't changed.  I would probably use VMware and Oracle type considerations (block sizes, server resources, etc) when evaluating the storage requirements as the functionality is very similar in nature.
