On April 12, EMC unveiled VSPEX Proven Infrastructure—a simple, efficient, and flexible reference architecture that EMC validates and EMC partners deliver.
EMC has joined forces with industry-leading IT providers to create a complete virtualization solution that simplifies and accelerates deployment of private cloud for customers. VSPEX Proven Infrastructure is comprised of EMC's award-winning VNX and VNXe storage systems and Avamar and Data Domain next-generation backup products, along with best-in-class virtualization, server, and network technologies from EMC alliance partners Brocade, Cisco, Citrix, Intel, Microsoft, and VMware.
VSPEX makes it simple for customers to adopt private cloud or end-user computing environments by reducing deployment time, delivering predictable performance, and providing a single point of management. With a foundation of EMC unified storage and backup products, and leveraging data deduplication, compression, and FAST technologies, VSPEX helps customers realize efficiency and lower operational costs. And its flexibility enables customers to select the hypervisor, server, network, storage, and data-protection technologies that best fit their existing IT environments.
VSPEX Proven Infrastructure is available to partners in the EMC Velocity partner program, and EMC is allowing partners to use EMC branding and industrial design in their VSPEX offerings. VSPEX Labs will allow partners to test, validate, and demonstrate new VSPEX solutions.
