Migrating from a physical Data Center to a virtual Data Center requires best practices for deploying virtualized Oracle databases. This session will illustrate EMC IT’s framework for deploying virtualized Oracle databases, including both business supporting and mission critical applications, which will become a foundational for the “As-A Service” cloud deployment model.

We will also demonstrate the best practices we have learned from deploying Oracle databases on virtual infrastructure to maintain a balance between efficiency and performance.
