”On the rear of the unit, one gets two DisplayPort headers as standard. There is an optional slot above the NIC where ours has a VGA port for a third display output. That spot can also be blank, Serial, DP, HDMI, or Type-C.”

To remove the dummy metal bracket, insert a flat-head screwdriver in the hole of the bracket. Push the bracket to release the bracket, and then lift the bracket out from the system.
Insert the optional I/O module into its slot from the inside of your computer.
Connect the I/O cable to the connector on the system board.
Replace the two (M3x3) screws that secure the optional I/O modules to the computer chassis
Still unable to plug in video connector - won't fit. My motherboard is different from the one in your picture. Do I have the wrong part? My computer is a 7050.
[The correct part for 7050 mff seems to be Dell H64DC.]
Thanks ordered part form Newegg $20. Dell sales sold me the wrong part again. This is the third time Dell sales has goofed up again with parts/specifications when ordering. Apparently Dell is not what it used to be.
Thank you you did a good job. Will accept as solution.
PS this page is difficult to use ... keep receiving 'unexpected error' & post flooding messages . Apparently Dell has lost it.
The DP module is not fastened to the back panel of chassis using M3x3 screw. There does not seem to be mounting holes for the module on the back panel.
The DP port of module appears to have two tapped holes to be fastened inside the MFF chassis.

check orientation of optional DP module video connector. It seems to have a 90 degree angle pointing away from jumper.

Yes two (screw) holes in top of the rear panel ostensibly will line up with those on our module. Will know more after port arrives.
Thank you.
