OptiPlex 5040 mounting Blu-ray in 5.25" bay
I'm mounting a 5.25" Blu-ray in the 5.25" bay of my Optiplex 5040 MT. The only thing I'm missing is the screws for the Blu-ray drive that will allow it to lock in the 5.25" bay. Does anyone have a part number so that I can purchase them? Thank you.

Does 5040 MT use a latch to secure odd? I do not see a DP/N of screw for dvd but there is a blue latch.

if you want to install a full height 3.5" optical drive, it seems no screw is used to secure the drive?
Press the blue release tab which allows you to slide the optical drive out of the optical drive bay.

I'm not replacing the slim DVDRW. There was a 3.5" HDD in the 5.25 bay that was mounted in a caddy (DP/N 00CW33)
I need to find the screws or other mounting hardware, that will allow a 5.25" Optical Drive to be mounted in the 5.25" bay.

this video illustrates that all you need is three standard optical drive screws. 5040MT chassis is identical to 7050MT.
