Intel Cmd Ctr won't install on Opti5070 SFF
Clean install of Win10-64 on my Opti5070 SFF. Installed Intel-630_Graphics-Driver_x64_31.0.101.2114.EXE which installed successfully. Next I attempted to install the graphics Cmd Ctr - Intel-Graphics-Command-Center-Application_07VW2_WIN64_1.100.3325.0_A00_05.EXE but the install failed with the error: "The system already exists in equal or higher version" - which isn't true since no other versions have been installed on this fresh-out-of-the-box W10 system. No drivers of any kind have been installed other than those downloaded from the Lenovo driver page.
Any ideas?

Adjust the brightness on your monitor. I use the monitor for all screen settings. If I used 2 monitors, then I'd use Windows to select main and 2nd monitors.

Windows 10 has capability to detect and download Intel graphics driver. You should not have to install it manually and especially using Lenovo driver for Dell system.

(sorry for the "Lenovo driver page" - i've been working on my laptop too)
The Intel 630 graphics driver has a "clean install" option in the setup which will "clean up" remnants of previous installs before installing this version. It will also allow downgrades.
The Command Center install, in contrast, has no provision for either. If it finds something that it doesn't like it just fails. No options, no choices, just Out Of Luck.
I don't even need or want the Command Center but Dell / Intel has made it "necessary". A fresh, out-of-the-box W10 install has a Brightness slider in Settings but it has no effect without the Intel graphics drivers. But the installation of the Dell / Intel graphics drivers removes the Brightness slider from Settings - leaving you with no way to adjust brightness. Why? So that you have to install the unwanted, un-needed Command Center.
And in my case it refuses to install the Cmd Ctr - leaving me with a 1.4gb graphics install and no way to adjust screen brightness!
Any ideas on how I can adjust screen brightness on this machine?

Well Duh! Thanks for kickstarting my (missing) memory.
(In a pathetic attempt to cover up my red face...) The monitor is a Dell 2017H - vintage 2016 - and I don't think I've ever used the microscopic ft panel buttons since I bought it 8 yrs ago. Guess i'll get out my magnifying glass & go to work...

Also, Windows is still used to adjust graphics settings.
