does free pc have case, power button and ribbon cable?  There is a small proprietary circuit board behind front panel that has the pwr sw which feeds into the ribbon cable.

Is has everything but the power switches lead is gone I just have the front panel to the I/O I think.

When you link tech guides and etc., could you please say actually what they are?  For example, your link above is for the 380 Tech Guide.

Sometimes, I'll tap one of your links to see what you're talking about, just to find out it downloads a tech guide or manual I have already.

This should be more convenient for OP's also.

I see you need just the 2 pin pwr sw button with 2 wires and a 2 pin female connector to plug in the front CB (white 2 pin header)

It may be hard to buy just that since it is cheap part and most vendor of front CB do not include it.  I find one vendor that includes it but you have to buy the whole package.

Another vendor is a bit cheaper.
