OpenManage not working on VMware 6.7.0 build 13006603
Hi!
Today I've installed an ESXi Server using the VMware 6.7.0 build 13006603 ISO (not the Dell one).
I'm using this today:
- OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WINX64-9.2.0-3142_A00.exe (installed on my machine)
- OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.1.0-2757.VIB-ESX65i_A00.zip (6.5 servers)
- OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.2.0-3212.VIB-ESX67i_A00.zip (6.7 servers)
They all work fine, but for the latest build, it is not working.
I've even tried updating my PC to 9.3 version of OpenManage and the VIB to OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.3.0-3465.VIB-ESX67i_A00.zip.
No joy... Any one knows why?

Fixed by installing this VIB:
OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.3.1-3684.VIB-ESX67i_A00.zip

Can you expand on what you mean when you say that it doesn't work? Are you unable to log in, does it not install for you, etc. I deployed this version of OMSA on 6.7 sometime within the passed few months and it did work properly, but I'm happy to redeploy and check again, if you can help me understand what you're experiencing.

DylanJ,
Hi!
Sorry for the delay...
I'm not able to log in. It keeps "Verifying Credentials..." and after several minutes it returns to the login screen without any error.

Was the ESXi host rebooted after the .VIB was installed? Also, are ports 22, 25, 135, 161,162, 443, and 1311 all open?

DylanJ,
Sorry again. I have not received any alert of your reply...
Yes, I have rebooted several times.
I have disabled firewall on my PC, VMware has its default firewall rules.
The only is change is SSH that is enabled.
I have tried to disable ESXi firewall using the command: esxcli network firewall set --enabled false
Same problem.

Hey Dylan,
Just checking if you were able to test it.

@The Hopper
Hi!
You need to copy the zip file to your ESXi host and use this command on a SSH session:
esxcli software vib install -d /var/log/vmware/OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.3.1-3684.VIB-ESX67i_A00.zip
