Enabling DRS puts all cluster hosts into 'unknown health state'
Vmware cluster seems fine with HA enabled, no issues reported. The servers appear fine with no issues/errors in OMEnt or vCenter.
As soon as I enable DRS, within seconds, all servers report 'unknown health state' in vCenter. I've waited up to 10 minutes with no change. As soon as I disable DRS, all hosts go back to regular, healthy state with no issues reported.
The OMIVV virtual appliance is the latest version and has been rebooted several times after this started happening. The vCenter virtual appliance has also been rebooted several times. I've also rebooted one of the hosts with no success.
I believe this coincided with iDRAC firmware updates on the hosts, but can't say definitively. I've reset iDRAC on all hosts, as well.
Curious if anyone else has encountered this and also a fix?
TIA

Thanks for the reply. I understand how OMIVV is supposed to work. We've had OMIVV configured, up and running without issues for close to 2 years now. This is a recent development and I'm trying to understand why OMIVV puts all hosts into an unknown health state despite reporting all hosts as healthy.
