Dell Repository Manager and Dell OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter 2.0

I have repository manager v1.7 and when I try to create a new repository for my vCenter I am now having issues, where I didn't before with the previous DMPVV. In DRM I select New, Dell System Mgmt Plug-in for vCenter Inventory and choose the "Use inventory data from Dell Management Virtual Appliance Host". I put in the name of the DOMI server and then the name and credentials for my vCenter 5.0 server. It comes back stating "There are no systems available for inventory. Please try again from another Dell Management Appliance" I never had an issues from my previous v1.7 appliance. Is there a compatibility problem between them? There is no newer version of DRM available that I can find. Thanks, Sean

@SDONAGHEY -Please verify you are on build 1261 of the DMPVV.  In addition, manually kick off the DMPVV inventory to ensure that is up to date. The guidance is to manually run inventory after a backup and restore of 1.7 to 2.0.

I googled and found out how to change the update location for v2.0 updates. So I am now running build 1262.

I am running 2.0.1259. System says there is no newer version available to update too. I ran the DMPVV inventory as per the instructions right after the upgrade. I think the v2.0 DMPVV is not pointing to the correct update location though, as it states the available version as 1.7.0.19, but I have 2.0.0.1259 installed. The update path is currently set to: http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/vcenter-plugin/latest . Has this changed at all with the v2.0 version?

sdonaghey  I had development do some tests with v1.7 and everything worked correctly.  You will likely need to call support to see what is going on. When you call in provide a service tag from a server with prosupport, when you get to the call directory ask for help with VMware virtualization. The experts are in the advanced virtualization queue.

We have created a hotfix for the "the firmware repository file does not exist or is invalid" issue. Please use the update path of linux.dell.com/.../latest

This update will get you to build 2.0.0.1262

After the update move back to original path to ensure you will see future updates.  Right now it will indicate version 1.7 but in the next month we will be releaseing an offical update to that directory.

sdonaghey, Did you have any luck with getting this working through Dell Support?, I am having the same problem you are. I have upgraded it to the latest version and I still get the same error.
