PowerEdge R720 Drive Failures self diag tool
we have a dell PowerEdge R720 and I am trying to get it to boot into the hardware diagnostics in the lifecycle controller. when trying to boot into the self diag all its doing is going into a black screen and wont successfully boot into the self diag tool.
the reason to why I am needing the self diag tool is I am getting these errors on dells openmange server. and I need to check to see if any more drives are going bad because we already have 2 dead drives and need to replace these old servers with new ones.
A block on the physical disk has been punctured by the controller: Physical Disk 0:1:3 Controller 0, Connector 0
There was an unrecoverable disk media error during the rebuild or recovery operation: Physical Disk 0:1:3 Controller 0, Connector 0

tried to get the R720 to boot using this software and it is not recognized. tried it 3 different ways using 2 cds one using the dell software to create the software and 1 using poweriso and 1 usb drive.
