PowerEdge R620. IDRAC

I have reset Idrac on one of our servers by shutting down a server, puling both power supplies and pushing the power button to drain the power. Once the server was up, I configured the IDRAC network settings by going to the System Set up and IDRAC Settings. I am still unable to get to Idrac via web browser. Since IDRAC has been restarted I can now  edit the Idrac network setting through the front LCD panel and I am still unable to get to IDRAC. I have assigned different IPs and used different cables and still nothing.

This server had the motherboard replaced a couple of years ago. My thought is that perhaps the IDARC license needs to be applied or something related but I am not sure. Since I am unable to pull up IDRAC, I can't check the license.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bullet43,

I would start with removing the iDrac from the network and running the cable directly to a laptop to test. This will exclude the issue being part of the network. Also, what port do you have the cable plugged into, if NIC port 1 then verify that in Network settings it reflects Shared under the Nic port for the iDrac. If the cable is not in port 1, and is in the slot with the wrench then make sure that the port is set to Dedicated.

Let me know what you see.
