MANILA, Philippines -- Dell Philippines has sold its Pasay call center to
Teleperformance for an undisclosed amount, in a bid to “increase the efficiency
of its business and provide better value for customers.’’

The sale will transfer the management of Dell’s consumer tech-support business in
the Philippines to Teleperformance.

“The agreement allows us to continue providing tech-support for US and
Australia-New Zealand out of the Philippines,” Dell global consumer services
vice president Ganesh Lakshminarayanan said in a statement.

“We appreciate the contributions of our Pasay team and will do all we can
to make the transition seamless. It is a mutual win that our Pasay team will
continue supporting Dell customers through Teleperformance. We also continue
to remain committed to the Philippines directly through our various operations
at the Quezon City site,” he added.

Dell said its Quezon City business was not part of the sale.

Electroworld is one of Dell’s strategic partner in the Philippines and will be responsible
for reselling Dell-branded Consumer products. The said company will also provide services
to Dell and its customers in the Philippines.

This retail concept store is the fourth branch in the Philippines located at the Cyberzone
area of SM Annex North Edsa. This will enable consumers to have a more personalized
experience in familiarizing themselves with the product Dell has to offer.

My primary concern is for the DELL.COM website... so....

Im trying to find out when will DELL.COM place
"Philippines" in that website to make it not that difficult for us personal dell users here in my country to have a proper technical support and other supports????

This is a user Forum.  Not a Yell At Dell Forum.

I do not work for dell.

I am not a dell employee and never have been.

I would suggest you contact the Dell Rep in your country.

speedstep - there is no dell rep in the phillipines that supports the phillipines. all the folks that work for dell in the phillipines support australia/new zealand and the US.

dell does not have an "official" presence in the phillipines, thus no dell support or sales in the phils. ironic, yes?

if the OP needs assistance with a dell product, he can not go through dell directly. he will have to go through elctroworld or one of the other resellers.
