Phishing private message
Received a phishing private email from "Dell EMC Community ". It contained "The best place to find a partner -> [link]. I reported the inappropriate email to a moderator several days ago but have not gotten a reply. Next step?

"You used a bad word in the body of your post. Please clean up the body before posting.">

I would also point out that Dell Community does not seem to have any phishing reporting tabs/links. Suggest you make it easier for us to report this kind of thing...
Also, so stupid that your automated "clean up" prevents me from reporting the content of the text because of internal "bad words" but not the actual external intrusion! Get your act together guys, your security is below par and you are making it hard to file an internal report while neglecting the external failure!

Same with me. That made me quite mad as I didn't expect such from a big company like Dell.
And I also didn't even got an answer on my complaint.
I mailed to privacy@Dell.com. Because honestly, I'm not happy using this community anymore.
It seems this user has been created automatically by a bot. So I assume banning the user doesn't help much.
But as the PM does use "bad words" it shouldn't be so hard to filter it out???

Thanks for reporting this. User iLady was banned on 1/8/21 at 1:34pm. We also banned the IP address.
For a public post, you may click the three vertical dots and then click, "Report Inappropriate Content".
