N3208PX-ON SFP 1GB Support

from the 3200 series specification sheet, the N3208PX-ON is indicated as having 2x10G SFP+ ports. despite what is written in the specification sheet, can the N3208PX-ON support 1G speeds on its SFP+ ports ?

Thank you.

The Dell Networking N3208PX-ON switch is specified to have 2x10G SFP+ ports according to the available information. While SFP+ ports are typically designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10G) speeds, some switches may have backward compatibility or auto-negotiation capabilities for lower speeds like 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1G). However, to confirm if the N3208PX-ON supports 1G speeds on its SFP+ ports, it is recommended to consult the product documentation, contact Dell's customer support, or seek assistance from a Dell networking specialist for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

@urmerfarflung Thank you for your response. i contacted Dell customer support through chat and they were more or less referring to the switches' specification sheet to answer this question. perhaps a networking specialist from Dell can help with accurate information but i do not know where to get a hold of them since i'm not yet a customer. then there's the screenshot @Origin3k posted showing that it is compatible with 1Gb optics so it could be that, despite the specification sheet, the 10G port can autonegotiate down to 1G when needed.
