UP3216Q, no sound from built-in speakers

Hi,

I have two Dell UP3216Q monitors connected to a dock through DisplayPort cables. Under my Windows 10 sound settings both monitors show to be working and playing sound when I click test button. But there is no sound coming from built-in speakers. Has anyone came across this issue and/or know the fix?

Beeping does not mean that there are internal built-in speakers. You should see the UP3216Q as the default audio device since the PC audio is being sent into the UP3216Q. But you still need to connect external speakers to access that audio.

However I hear the beeping sound from monitor every time I use the OSD. Also if I select the monitors as my default audio device, it shows up on the bottom right in the task bar with volume adjustments.

I do not see any built-in speakers listed in the UP3216Q User's Guide. It shows an Audio Line-out port for external speakers.
