U4025QW, TB4 no video after M3T102 firmware
I just purchased a new U4025QW display and updated the firmware to the latest version (M3T102) on the Dell site. After the update finished, I no longer get video over the Thunderbolt port. I have to use DisplayPort or HDMI to see anything. Before the update (on the original firmware that shipped with it, M3T101), it worked fine. I'm on a 2023 MacBook Pro M3 Max and have run the update twice to completion but the issue remains.
It seems this firmware update broke the Thunderbolt video connection so I can't use it. My laptop gets power delivery from the port, but nothing else works over the connection. Any suggestions?

Try this and post your results =
* Open the U4025QW Menu- Input Source
* Change Auto Select to Off
* Manually choose/check Thunderbolt (140W)
* Exit the Menu
Update = After updating the Dell U4025QW monitor to firmware version M3T102, unplug the power cable from the U4025QW until the power indicator is completely off. Then reconnect the power cable. This action completes the firmware update.

Hi, turn off your monitor and unplug-it from wall for about 60 secondes.
That's what I did.

To receive assistance from Dell support agents they need to first verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private monitor Service Tag with them.
* You must be using the provided TB4 to TB4 1.5m/4.9ft Active cable
* Verify that you are using the #6 TB4 140W port, not #5 TB4 15W port

@DELL-Chris M Sorry, I meant that the original firmware was M3T101. I updated my original post. I am using the Dell-supplied TB4 cable and Port #6. Thanks for any help you can provide.

@Medofree I tried this and it worked! After unplugging for 60 seconds, my Thunderbolt is working again. Thanks!

Well, apparently this fix only works until you unplug the Thunderbolt cable. Plugging it back in again renders video inoperable again. Back to the drawing board, I guess...

Yeah, this was my experience as well. I'm on an M3 Max, and my T4 port was bricked after I ran the firmware update. I was never actually able to use the T4 cable supplied by Dell at all, though - I had to order a 1m Apple T4 cable to get any video in the first place (pre-firmware-update).
I did the 60-second unplug trick, got video the first time I reconnected via T4, and then disconnected to move cords around and had no video when I reconnected again.

Same problem here. Brand new monitor. TB4 worked fine with M3T101. Updated to M3T102 in windows (machine 1 using hdmi) and now TB4 is bricked. My macbook (machine 2 using TB4) has power but no signal is detected. It's really frustrating to go from a fully working monitor to a broken monitor on day 1 after setting the monitor up.

I also bricked my Thunderbolt 4 port during the M3T102 update on Windows 11.
My laptop has power but no video signal via the port.
Unplugging the monitor's power cable for 60s at least got the video feed back, but it is still finicky and I can loose signal when moving the laptop.
Please release a new firmware update to fix this.

Hi, thank you for the fast response. Turning off auto select indeed resolves losing signal when moving the laptop.
