U4025QW, macOS, Thunderbolt 4 stopped working, #2
Hi.
My new Dell U4025QW stopped working with my MacBookPro M1 after 1 day of use. I am trying to connect it with official "active" thunderbolt 4 cable provided with the monitor. It was working for 1 day, although it was randomly losing signal. but then when I tried to use it today it stopped working and now just showing me "No Thunderbolt signal from your device" message. HDMI works but it's 30 Hz only, and I need 60. I tried everything, nothing helped, then I downloaded M3T102 firmware from dell.com and installed it, then it started working, but as soon as the monitor went into sleep mode, it stopped working again. When installing the firmware I was strictly following all the instructions, including powering the monitor off and disconnecting it to finish installation. I also noticed when installing a message saying "Your monitor already has the same firmware.", but I installed it anyway and it helped, but as I said only for an hour or two.
What should I do, please help. Thanks.

Today I purchased DP1.4 cable from Amazon, capable of 32.4 Gbps. Full specs are the following:
USB C to DisplayPort 8K@60Hz Maxonar 4K@60Hz/144Hz/120Hz 5K@60Hz 2K@240Hz Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort cable HBR3 DP 1,4 adapter to MacBook Pro, Mac mini, Dell XPS VESA (1,2 m).
So far (for 1 hour) it has been working well with my MacBook Pro M1 Pro, on 60Hz max resolution. I'm planning to buy and try Apple's expensive 1m long TB4 cable, from AppStore. I haven't been able to make the setup work with neither Dell TB4 nor their HDMI cables, that were in the box with the monitor. Dell tech support is silent for half a week, so no help there at all as well.
I will keep this post updated with my findings, in case someone else finds this information useful.

Update:
I purchased the official active 1.8m Apple TB4 cable from Apple Store (the one that costs around 130 USD - https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MW5J3AM/A/thunderbolt-4-usb%E2%80%91c-pro-cable-18-m). Works without any complaints as well - charging my MacBook, video, audio - everything. 60 Hz as expected on MacBook Pro M1 Pro without overriding EDIDs etc.
Conclusion: don't use Dell's cable from the box. If you're on Mac then buy Apple's cable and you won't have any troubles. Alternatively, you can also buy a 5k 32.4 Gbps DP to TB4 cable, that works as well. Of course, you won't be able to be charging your MacBook using DP, but that solution is much cheaper than the Apple's cable.

I have also read this article, and their solution did not resolve the issue: https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/monitors/u4025qw-tb4-no-video-after-m3t102-firmware/65efc6045c8e1a0ebcb04500

I'm using the in-the-box TB cable that was shipped with the monitor, should I buy the expensive one from Apple (1m long) - did it helped to anyone with the same problem?
