U3415W on a intel q45/q43 express chipset
Hello
I just recently bought a u3415w monitor. It works fine on one of my pc's but not the other one.
Im using displayport on both machines.
The one pc where im having problems have a intel q45/q43 express chipset. I can get image on the screen until the windows log on screen appear, then it turns black and can't find a signal.
So far i can see, the intel q45/q43 express chipset only supports up to 2560x1600p, but im not sure wether thats the reason or not?

Correct. The Intel Q45/Q43 express chipset maximum resolution is 2560X1600. But the monitor should be able to do the lower resolution?
So using a different monitor on that computer, set the windows desktop resolution to 2560x1440. Then connect the U3415W via DP to that computer and see if it will display after windows logon. Also, we ship this with DP 1.2 Enabled. You might disable it in the Menu OSD (On Screen Display) Display and re-test.
