U2723QE, problem daisy chaining to S2722QC

I have a U2723QE and want to daisy chain it with a S2722QC. On the community forums i found an closed accepted solution where you Connect your PC/laptop via usb-c to the U2723QE and then use a DP to HDMI cable to connect the #6 DP out port of the U2723QE to the HDMI in port of S2722QC. MST turned on (tried with and without the sync option). However i try this, the S2722QC is not detected and i have to revert back to having U2723QE connected via usb-c and the S2722QC via hdmi to the pc/laptop. Can anyone help with this, am I missing something?

Any usage of HDMI breaks the "design" of the U2723QE USB-C/DP MST daisy chain and is not supported by Dell. Dell cannot speak to others usage of converters to HDMI.

Yes, but written "in theory". Note I did not state it was "Dell or design supported". I have made edits to it for clarification.

@DELL-Chris M Well you didn't say that it wasn't. Stating "If you are asking if you can make the S2722QC the second monitor from the U2723QE, then yes" does not sound like theorizing about it but an instruction. Thanks for that, I actually bought a second HDMI/DP adapter because i thought the first one i bought was faulty, kudos.
