I want the monitor not to turn off, I want to disable the "pawer save mode".

As I showed in the U2415 User's Guide, the U2415 is working as designed. No, you cannot turn off its power save mode.

I read on some forum, that by disconnecting the cables and holding the on / off button, a reset is performed and it seems to work for a while, is that true?

you can not disable the "power save mode" or lengthen the times?
