U2312HM, Discoloration across the left hand side

Hi,

My Dell U2312HM monitor is having a problem. I bought it in January 2013. It started to show green color tint on the left hand side and pixellation as well. I have ran the BID test and it looks like the following pictures, a noticeable green discoloration on the left hand side. The serial number of my monitor is CN-02GFKN-74445-2CA-AWSL, and the revision number is A00. The monitor is connected with my Macbook pro 2009 by displayport for daily use, and my mac is running OS X 10.9.4. I would appreciate if you can give me some information on troubleshooting or what should I do to get my monitor fixed. Thank you so much.

Dell monitors do not have 100% color/tint uniformity specification. As long as the center 4" circle is 6500K, it meets our manufacturer specifications. You can try resetting it to factory defaults using the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) -Other Settings -Factory Reset. You are welcome to contact Customer Service and try to press your case for a used/refurbished monitor exchange.
