You need to connect something via the Component, S-Video or Composite then hit the PIP button until you achieve the desired result (PIP, side by side, etc)
If the 2405FPW is the same as my 2005FPW then you can't use the PIP feature with the DVI and VGA inputs. The PIP only works with the DVI/VGA and one of the other inputs.
