Setting up multiple displays, dock, daisy chain?
Trying to set up multiple monitor home setup for my daughter who is starting investment banking analyst job. I am not sure exactly what her work laptop is yet besides a "lenovo I think". I currently have a P2724DEB and two 2424H monitors on the way. I have a WD19TB I have never used. I was planning on daisy chaining the 27 and 24's with DP and now wondering if better to just connect the laptop to the 27 via USB-C directly (not using the dock) or to connect through the dock? I don't know if dock would be helpful or would just add to potential connectivity issues with corporate laptop? I have no experience with setting up multiple monitors, usbc or thunderbolt with monitors and not even sure difference between cables anymore. I had originally planned to connect all monitors through dock but seems daisy chaining may be easier. I have become the old guy with the computer suddenly. As she lives a couple hours away, just trying to come up with the best predictable setup for her. Thank you for any assistance.

Until we know the specific Lenovo model and its specifications (video out ports, GPU) and if she will Administrator rights on the Laptop, it will be guess work on our part. Get that data from her and post it. Then our users can assist you.

Having trying both was, Personally I would use the dock and connect the monitors to that.
dock has 4 video ports, but you may not be able to use them all.
if it can’t cope, then you may need to use the laptops spare usb or hdmi
24DEB is probably too buggy to use its dock function

that is very helpful, thank you very much. I will hopefully get access to everything next week and go from there. I will use the dock and connect that way. I have seen people say that the laptop connector on the dock is as long as it can be? I guess it needs to be on the desktop to reach the laptop. Hadn't really thought of that until thinking about how to make her desk as clean as possible. Thank you very much.

I had the laptop on the left. I think that’s the windows default for the screeen layout.
I put the dock on the desk between the monitors and the cable just reaches
