S2716DG, built-in speakers don't work?
I got a new S2716DG for Christmas. It took some tweaking, but now I like it (the gamma is way too high out of the box). Just one problem, the integrated speakers don't work at all. I've set the audio source properly and reinstalled the Nvidia drivers with no luck. I can plug head phones into the monitor and hear audio but the speakers don't work. I tried calling phone technical support but the express service tag for this monitor doesn't work so the wait time to have my call dropped was twice as long. Is there a way I can dial directly to get support in Canada without having to go through call routing?

Check the S2716DG User's Guide. The S2716DG does not have built in speakers. The side audio out port is only for headphone. The Menu OSD (On Screen Display) -Audio only adjust the headphone-out jack volume.
The bottom audio line out port is for external speakers.
