P4317Q, PBP customized resolution?
Hi,
Is there any future plan to have "customized" resolution for the PBP? For example if we choose PBP 3 Window mode 2, the upper display resolution can it be set to 3840 x 1080? Or this is restricted/limited by Windows or Display card? My objective is to have a single connection with wider display (not stretch the display). Thanks.

No. There is no plan to change the design parameters set forth by the manufacturer.
Page 8 of the P4317Q User's Guide states, "PBP mode maximum resolution support PBP mode maximum resolution support 1920x1080 60Hz".

What is the point of having "PBP 3 window mode2" if the top field can't hit a resolution that fills that space/shape? How was this intended to be used? If it was intended to look like three "1920x1080" monitors in a triangle than the icon for "PBP 3 window mode2" was being deliberately misleading. I purchased this monitor for this specific mode and I would appreciate any help.

As DELL-Jesse L showed all, the online User's Guide was very clear about the PBP mode maximum resolution.
