Deploying BIOS updates with SCCM and Dell 3rd Party Catalog
Hello,
We are working on rolling out BIOS updates using Dell's 3rd party catalog in SCCM (MECM). If some devices are multiple versions behind, all of the available BIOS updates will be pushed to the device instead of the most recent. I can't determine if this is a Dell or Microsoft issue. Has anyone else come across this? Thank you.

Hello JHFox,
Sometimes a firmware (say BIOS) is very far behind and needs a step up. I can't say for sure on this particular BIOS.
Do you have multiple updates for say the PERC or the DRAC listed also?
I can do some checking to see if this is normal behavior.

Hello JHFox,
How did the updates turn out? Were you able to select the ones you want?
Normally when you publish updates it lists them all separately so there is some scoping that needs done.
You usually publish bundles in SCCM via SCUP and this adds each update individually then you can apply what you want.
I could suggest to contact Support and get a regular support case. That way it can be escalated to engineering if necessary to address the behavior.
