17 R1, replacement PCIe WiFi adapter

Hi team,

My 17 R1 has a Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac installed, works well but doesn't seem to have the best WiFi strength and Linux Mint (ubuntu) driver support is limited.

I was wondering is anyone can recommend a replacement PCIe adapter that handles modern WiFi standards, supports Linux and is currently available on the market?
