Installing NVME with heatsink inside a Dell Latitude 3250.
Hello! I wanted to ask if i can install an ssd NVME such as the Wd Black Sn850x 1tb M2 Nvme (model WDS100T2XHE-00BCA0) that comes with a heatsink inside a Dell Latitude 3520? Will it fit or will the heatsink be to tall for the laptop?

The drive won't fit the notebook -- these drives are upward of 1 cm in depth. They're designed for use in a desktop system.

@ejn63 Thanks for the fast reply. Then i have another question. If i install the version of the WD Black Sn850x 1tb M2 Nvme that comes without a heatsink, would it overheat inside a Dell Latitude 3250? Does the laptop come prepared with some sort of heatsink plate already installed?

If you're replacing an M.2 drive, use the same size drive (M.2 2230 or M.2 2280) and re-use the bracket. If there's no mounting bracket and screw, try parts-people.com for the required mounting hardware.
