drivers not working Latitude 5430 win10 LTSC 1809

Hi,

We use Windows 10 LTSC v1809 in our environment, it is supported by Microsoft until 2029.

There are a couple of non-critical drivers not working with the Latitude 5430. These are

Intel Wireless Manageability (as far as I can tell the driver for this is Intel MEI)

Intel Integrated Sensor Solution

Both have an exclamation mark next to them in device manager. Properties reveals the error for both is 'driver entry point not found'.

I've tried the newer version of LTSC (21H2) on the 5430 and there are no issues with the drivers.

Tried all the usual stuff- reinstalling drivers etc.

We're also seeing this on a Latitude 7330.

Any chance of a compatible driver being released?

Hi,

The same issue we are also facing, in Dell latitude 5430/7430  12Gen. models

Intel Wireless management and Intel Integrated sensor solutions are always visible in alerts.

When I contacted Dell Pro Support Team, they recommended reinstalling Windows 10 Pro or 11 Pro, which was a very disappointing response.

Dear Dell Team , Intel Sesor Solution.JPGIntel W-L management .JPGwe are expecting a solution for the issue

We have given up waiting and started to use LTSC (21H2) as we also found that the latest .Net is not compatible with LTSC 1809 either.

I was just about to start a discussion when I found your post.  I had just imaged our first Lat 7430 to find the same status (as described above).  First I tried applying the latest ISS and MEC drivers.  Then I upgraded the BIOS to 1.7.0.  And then I tried disabling the VT options in the BIOS.  Same deal.  (And suggestions regarding Registry edits on the corresponding hardware classes don't match up.)

We're running Build 1909.  Based on your findings, I'm going to step it up to 20H2, first...

I should mention that I had downloaded the driver pack for the 7430, to add to my imaging process.

Okay!  So Build 20H2 covers both.  What's interesting, is that I see Microsoft(?) supplying a newer driver set for the Intel Wireless Manageability component, while the driver set on the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution appears unchanged (both now functioning properly).

Intel High Definition Audio is also not working(exclamation mark) on LTSC 1809 if you plug-in any device trough HDMI. Sound is not transfered to the connected device. The same heapend if you plug in Dell Dock WD19s. Missing device is INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_281C&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000. There is no issue on LTSC 21H2. On 21H2 i can see two devices HD Audio Driver for Display Audio when i plug-in HDMI. Drivers on 21H2 are AcxHdAudio.sys, drmk.sys, ksthunk.sys,portcls.sys. My test environement are the two Latitude 5430 notebooks. One with LTSC 1809, second with LTSC 21H2. On both i have the same dell  driver pack: Latitude 5430 DRIVER PACK A04 Driver 5PWPW (Intel Iris Xe Graphic driver 30.0.101.1960).

I had this same issue and going through many of the motions I see everyone in this thread has, I found that oddly, installing the realtek hd audio that said it had been updated on the 7430 made the intel hd audio splat go away.
