Clean Windows 10 install on Dell E6420ATG

Hi Community hope someone can help,

I've performed a clean Win 10 1809 install on a latitude E6420ATG laptop I have. It's still a good machine so i'd like to keep it going. For the most part Windows installed drivers for most things except for the Fingerprint scanner, and Mobile broadband device (See screenshot attached

missing drivers.jpg

found a page in the Dell knowledgebase called "Dell Latitude E6420 Windows 10 driver install guide" which offered a little help;

https://www.dell.com/support/article/au/en/audhs1/sln297969/dell-latitude-e6420-windows-10-driver-installation-guide?lang=en

In regards the Dell Wireless 5630 EVDO-HSPA Mobile Broadband Mini-Card, I couldn't find a Win 10 driver but instead tried a Win 7 driver which didn't install;

Regrading the Broadcom, there's something called Dell data protection middleware package which contains drivers for the fingerprint scanner and contactless smartcard reader etc...

So I'm looking for advice from the community and especially if you've been successful in finding and installing Win10 drivers for the E6420 hardware.

thanks in advance

Tricky since Windows 10 drivers are not available from the Dell support page. You will have to search the drivers out on the Net. However try the following site. If a driver exits for Windows 10 it will be on the following site.

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/home.aspx

Also have a look at this support page as it suggests that Windows 8 (actually Windows 8 but still a possibility) drivers may work in certain instances.

the finger print sensor is a little confusing as DELL has this ControlVault package and also Dell Data protection (DDP) package also. Both seem similar and have elements which apply to the fingerprint sensor but also cover other things.
So not sure where to turn.
