Wireless network adapter problems

Laptop (XPS 15 9550) all of the sudden cannot connect to internet, cannot find any networks. It's been connected to my home network, but this morning, after waking from sleep mode and restarting, it is reporting "The Dell Wireless 1830 802.11 ac adapter is experiencing driver-or hardware-related problems." OS is Windows 10.

This may or may not be related to another problem. Upon waking from sleep, the screen flickers black a couple of times. After flickering, about 20% of the time, I get a blue screen that initiates a restart to fix the problem. It has always worked normally after the restart. The network driver issue began today after the blue screen appeared and the laptop restarted.

Hi kiraj38,

Please run the on-board diagnostics and capture any error message or code you get.

Can you update the BIOS, chipset and network drivers to the latest version from the Dell support site.

Can you connect to the network wired?

Please click my DELL-username and send me a Private Message with the Dell Service Tag number and your email address.
