Windows 10 Home 64 bit

Dell Inspiron 17-5759, s.o Windows 10 Home 64bit, have problem. Reinstalling Windows 10 Home from usb bootable, when 20%, sudenly appears message "Warning: Clearing erase information store on the tpm.

Press f12 to clear tpm o esc exit and reboot system and again menu option.

How do I...? if I press f12 ? Why this message?

I'd appreciate help or a link to directions.

Strange, I've never seen that occur during Windows Setup, but if you're reinstalling Windows, then clearing the TPM shouldn't be an issue. The most common information stored there is a BitLocker unlock key for the hard drive, but BitLocker is only used with Windows 10 Pro, not Home.  It's possible that the TPM doesn't have any encryption keys stored and was simply provisioned by the previous installation.  You can clear the TPM from the BIOS just in case pressing F12 doesn't work.

From the BIOS, option Security TPM Disabled, saved, exit.

Boot and I have just re-installed Windows 10 Home successfully.

Nice!  You may want to go back into the BIOS, re-enable the TPM, and choose to clear it at this point though.  Even if you don't use it for BitLocker, there's no reason it needs to stay disabled.
