Theft Of Laptop
My Friends laptop is stolen.
She has LC, HDD, MBID, MBIC, Local Ip nos but dont have serrvice tag or serial no. how can she get servicce tag or serial no. pls help.

If the system was purchased direct from Dell, they will have the serial number. If it was not, the only way you can get it is if the system was then registered with Dell -- or if the seller has a record of the service tag number.
It's also on the shipping box the system came in -- if that hasn't been discarded yet.
