mafie:

If the key looks visibly stuck down, use a gentle stream of compressed air around the key to free any dust or debris that may be making it stick. Compressed air is available in cans for computer use through most computer and electronics accessories stores.

If the shift will not turn off, make certain that the Caps Lock is not engaged.

my laptop also has this problem, but a little different.

When the machine boot up, bios detech a stuck key problem and halt.

Then I reboot, it passes. In windows, the capslock led doesn't light up, but all I get is UPPER CASE letters. If I switch Caps Lock, the light turns off and i get lowercase ones. All the time, shift key is stuck, so I can't input Digital Number, all I can get are !@#$%^&*(). Who can help me? Thanks in advance!
