New Dell owner questions
I received my new Dell laptop a few weeks ago. I can't figure out how to get a picture in a picture. Any tips?

The resolution that supports all the features of Windows 8, including multitasking with snap, is 1366x768. So it looks like Snap is disabled for you.
Use the link I gave you earlier to enable it for your screen and then using the two links i gave you above, see if you can make it work. Not sure what it would look like on a 1600x900 screen though.

Check your invoice...which display screen did you get with your laptop?
Control Panel > Appearance & Personalization > Adjust Screen Resolution. Check the max res on the drop down Resolution menu.
If you don't have a high res screen equal to 1366 x 768 pixels then the snap on feature is disabled by default.
The link I gave shows you how to enable the feature on low res screens.

Thanks for that link. In downloading this program it talks about high resolution or low. How can I tell if my laptop has either?

Sorry if I am bugging you, but I really don't know a whole lot about computers. I know enough to get me in trouble. How could I find out if this snap feature is already in my puter?

Hey no problems...not bugging me at all.
If the feature is enabled then it will just work....see here

Glad it's working...what does it look like on your screen?
Coral Photoshop? Corel Paintshop or Adobe Photoshop
Did the software come preinstalled on the laptop?

Screen looks like: on right I have ebay open, sorta 1/5 of screen the other I have my online things open. I can click on the little dots in the middle of that bar and drag it to the left then it opens up what I have open.
Yes that photo shop program was supposed to be on this laptop. How can I find it and use it?

sounds like it's working ok on your screen size :emotion-1:
See here for locating programs /apps in Windows 8 http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-start-a-program-or-app-in-windows-8.html
Failing that...was the software provided on a separate DVD?
Or...you can register on My Dell Downloads here https://smartsource.dell.com/Web/Welcome.aspx?ReturnUrl=/Web/Login.aspx
Use only Internet Explorer to register and you should see a list of software that was shipped with your system

I have another question. How do I find and use the Coral Photoshop?
