n5030 W-7, no audio output for headphones or powered speakers

I cannot get any sound from the headphone jack on my N5030 laptop running W7,

brand new unit purchased from Wally World.

Neither headphone or powered Logitec speakers will work.

Built in Realtek works fine ??

There are no driver downloads for ext. powered speakers.

Thanks in advance for any help,

AL

Naw.... they wouldn't do that to us..... :emotion-42:... would they??  :emotion-13:

You can get a set of  inexpensive USB speakers and one of the speakers will have a headphone jack in it
