M1530 shipped today, wish it hadn't...

Too late to cancel now, but I wish I could after hearing all this garbage about faulty gpu's. I could have purchased an HP DV5T with new Montevina platform, 64-bit Vista, and 9600M GT gpu for practically the same price.

Question: I am moving to South Korea for a year come October. Will I still get at home service in Seoul or will I have to send my laptop back to the States when the gpu dies?

Is it legal for Dell to sell computers that they know are faulty?

You can refuse delivery.  The standard warranty does not cover international service -- you must upgrade the warranty for that.

Before you settle on a new Montevina system, carefully evaluate availability - though they've been announced by many, availability is not generally set until late August.

I looked at HP laptops prior to buying an XPS. HP has no at home service, only mail in with about 3 days at their repair facility plus time to ship both ways. That was not an option for me. I did that with a Toshiba and a HP laptop, each took 2 weeks to get back.
