Error installing Video Drivers on Latitude 5580
I'm getting an error installing the A03 version of the Intel HD Graphics 500 drivers on a Latitude 5580. My company is still using Windows 7 so I installed the OS and all other drivers but I get a message that "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" on the video drivers. I tried to go back to A02 gut also get the same problem. Windows 10 is not on the horizon for us anytime soon so I've got to get this work in Windows 7. Any suggestions?

Check the CPU your system has. If it has a sixth-generation Intel CPU (i.e., Intel i7-6200U), see here for installation details for Windows 7.

If it has a seventh-generation Intel CPU (parts like i7-7200U, etc.), it has no support for Windows 7 at all.
The system is available with both processor options - to use Windows 7, you MUST have the sixth-generation CPU.

Did you install the chipset driver first?
Did you select the appropriate Windows 7 driver for your laptop 64-bit vs 32-bit?

Yes, OS selected on Drivers & downloads site is Windows 7, 64-bit. I looked through the log file and last entry is "Didn't find any inf's that match active hardware". I've also verified that the laptop didn't ship with the NVidia card.. I think I'm going to let the site try to detect drivers and see what happens..

That's it. Thanks. Kaby lake 7th Gen. Kind of wondering why Dell even put out drivers for Windows 7 if not supported.

It's because this system is also offered with Skylake CPUs -- for which Windows 7 is still supported.
