Enabling two external monitors through my docking station

I have an Inspiron 8600 running XP with the port replicator (docking station) and I also have two IBM 9483 LCD monitors.  I currently use the laptop's internal screen as the primary screen and one of the LCDs (connected to the dock's svga out) as the secondary screen.  I would like to connect my 2nd IBM LCD to the dock as a third screen.

The dock has a free DVI-D out and a free Svideo out.  (The IBMs only have regular analog svga connectors)  Is there a way to somehow connect this third display so that XP will recognize it as an extended desktop?

You cannot do 3 screens. You can do 2 - either in the configuration you have or like what I do, with the laptop closed and 2 flatpanels connected.

Sorry :(.

Just to clarify, you have attempted this and failed already?

If XP will support more than two monitors (which it will) then what exactly is the limitation in this case, the port replicator?  The video card in the laptop?

Are you a Dell employee or just an individual that has gone through this?

Thanks!
