Dell Preferred Account?

So I ordered a Dell XPS M1730..customized it a bit..and filled out the app for the Preferred Account (Credit Card). It told me I needed to wait a day for a decision (filled it out at 3:00AM..and this has happened with my credit cards, which have all cleared). This was a week ago now..still haven't heard a "yes" or "no" regarding my app..the order still says it's in "order processing"..and it still has an expected ship date of 8/7/2008. Does this mean they approved me and didn't bother to e-mail me..or they're still "thinking". If so..I don't see why. If they were going to turn me down..surely 7 days is enough to check my credit. (By the way, I have established credit, none of my cards are close to 50% over their limit, only 2 cards, and I have an established car payment, never late, for over a year) Anyone have this happen to you before? Did they approve you? (I realize it's different for each person, just wanting some feedback) Thanks in advance.

I would call them on the number on the top of the page.  they should be able to give you an answer immediately.

If you want to know for sure ull need to call dell.In the past when ive ordered stuff sometimes it shows up on my door step before it says shipped.Dell is slow to update sometimes there stuff.

Off topic here, but do u know what ur interest rate is?I never buy unless i have the cash to pay it off.They like to rip you on that with min payments.But i know sumtimes thats the only way to get a new lappy..

I'm pretty sure I got an instant decision on my account.  I would call Dell Fin. Serv. and get a straight answer.
