Apologies that your system is not working as expected. I've seen the photo you posted, however I do not see the checkered boxes you're mentioning.
Have you tried a system diagnostics? You can run them by pressing F12 at startup or by running Support Assist. Make a note of any error messages, and contact Tech Support for further troubleshooting. The screenshot does not have checkered boxes!!!
I'm Surprised...I would Send you another photo but now it seems that the system is not booting up.
All I can hear is 8 Beeps...and no display.
I've tried pressing "D" with power button...but it's no help!

The 8 beeps indicate the LCD has failed.
