What are the OneFS file path reserved characters?
What are the reserved characters which cannot be used in directory or file names in Isilon/OneFS files, if any? I haven't seen this listed specifically in any of the public documentation so far, if I missed it please let me know. Specifically, are the NTFS reserved characters allowed?
/\:*"?<>|
Thanks!

Thank you Josh! Unfortunately, I don't have access to that KBA page. (Error: "This article is permission based. Find another article.") Is there a publicly accessible page with this info, or could you please share the character list here? I am trying to support a customer on Isilon and do not have an active license myself.

All of these don't work. It follows BSD naming rules.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Possibly, the $ is used for admin shares in Windows, so using that could affect other things using the shares.

we have several DIR that use the $ sign and single spaces. I have come across issues with auto tabbing, but have been able to work around it for now. are there any other services that can be affected by using the $ sign?
