CYBER ATTACKS and RANSOMWARE are on the rise- Dell Cyber Recovery and IDPA

Are you ready for a cyber attack such as ransomware?
Not just how to defend against it- but ready to recover from it?
The statistics regarding the number of attacks and the average cost are staggering. (see the below video for some statistics)

Meet Dell Cyber Recovery- an advanced solution that is perfect for IDPA.
As a matter of fact, from IDPA/PowerProtect Appliance version 2.7.0 and forward on DP4400 & DP5900 , CR is a design feature and a built-in option.

The new PP Solution Brief (link below) summarizes it this way:
Cyber Recovery Integration • Highest levels of protection, integrity and availability against cyber attacks for on-premises and multi-cloud environments • Available on DP4400 & DP5900

So, if a new IDPA/PP DP4400 & DP5900 is purchased now it will come with version 2.7.x and so it will already include CR integration feature.

For those customers with earlier versions of IDPA/PP with no customer data yet, you can still upgrade to 2.7.0 and configure it to use CR.

For those customers with earlier versions of IDPA/PP with customer data in the system already there are two options:
Option 1. Dell offers a standalone CR product that can be used with IDPA/PP.
Option 2. Dell is expecting to offer a future path to IDPA 2.7.x (available on DP4400 & DP5900) which will allow using the CR integration with that version- so stay tuned for that.
